To preserve this cultivated apple variety, orchard owners receive a fair price for their apples as part of a premium-price project. At the van Nahmen cider and private winery in Hamminkeln, Rhineland, fruit processing has a long tradition. Nothing is removed from the juices and nothing is added: no preservatives, no flavorings.
