Carefully selected sardines in a traditional Galician sauce, originally cooked on fishing boats by fishermen from the Vigo region using onions, tomatoes, and spices (e.g., paprika and cloves). For a truly authentic taste experience, we recommend briefly warming the can in the oven after opening it – and having plenty of white bread ready for dipping! It also tastes delicious cold, of course. The fish comes from the Rias de Vigo and the Rias de Pontevedra. The producer is particularly proud of the high quality of the fish and recommends that customers eat all their products straight from the can, as this is where the special care taken in processing can best be seen. The Catrineta company from Santiago de Compostela has set itself the goal of reviving the production of canned fish, which has a certain tradition in Galicia.
