SHORT DESCRIPTION
The STAY SPICED! organic soy seasoning "Sojami" originates from the production of organic soy sauce by Roland Trettl and Hans Reisetbauer. True to the motto: "Quality creates friendship," the spice blend "Sojami" was created together.

TASTE
Umami, along with sweet, sour, salty, and bitter, is one of the five basic tastes. It is often described as savory, hearty, or meaty. The taste is simply pleasant and complements or enhances the other tastes such as sweetness, acidity, salt, and bitterness. Sojami Mediterranean enhances and improves the basic flavor of dishes without being overpowering, while also providing a mild aroma typical of Mediterranean cuisine.

PRODUCTION
The organic soybeans from our own organic farm are blended with organic wheat and rye malt, as well as brine from Bad Ischl. They are then stored in oak barrels for at least seven months, during which time a fermentation process takes place. Following this, the beans are pressed. The fermented beans are pressed for 24 hours in a basket press. In addition to the resulting organic soy sauce, the press cake remains. This is then slowly and gently dried and finely ground, forming the basis for our organic soy seasoning.
