Hackepeter is a traditional dish made from raw pork that has been finely minced or ground through a meat grinder. There, it is usually made from beef, pork, or a mixture of both and is almost always boiled or fried, e.g., in the form of frikadellen, meatballs, or Bolognese sauce.
