Hollandaise Sauce: Also known as the "Queen of Sauces," it's one of the classic staple sauces in traditional cuisine. Egg yolks are whipped in a double boiler until frothy and enriched with butterfat. This creates an emulsion (a very fine distribution of water and oil) with the finest flavor. Sossenkönig uses a different process, which makes our hollandaise stable and versatile. By using fresh A2 butter with natural whey, we've created a very special flavor. Refined with white wine, fresh herbs, or diluted with hot asparagus stock, it's the perfect accompaniment to asparagus, vegetables, fish, or meat.
