SHORT DESCRIPTION
This spice blend was developed in collaboration with grilling expert Tom Heinzle and gives every poultry dish a unique flavor – completely without the typical paprika. The inspiration comes from the hearty BBQ cuisine of Memphis, known for its robust spices and love of grilling.
USE
Ideal for chicken, turkey, or duck, but also for light meats like pork. Simply sprinkle over the meat and grill or roast for an aromatic crust. Dosage: To taste, approximately 1 teaspoon per serving is recommended.
GOOD TO KNOW
Tom's tip: Brush chicken wings, chicken thighs or a whole rotisserie chicken with melted butter, season generously with Memphis Chicken seasoning and grill over indirect heat at approximately 180 degrees until cooked to the desired degree.
TASTE
A perfect balance of sea salt, sugar, and a robust blend of chili, ancho, thyme, and pepper gives your poultry the spicy kick it needs. The medium grind ensures optimal texture and intensity. Spicy and hot with a pleasant sweetness.
