{"product_id":"koriander-gemahlen-vom-maiergut","title":"Ground coriander from Maiergut","description":"Good to know: Coriander is currently in high demand, and there aren't many growing areas in Austria, especially not in Upper Austria. In 2021, we revived the \"Maiergut\" estate in the Innviertel region of Upper Austria. We currently cultivate coriander and caraway on the 14-hectare site. This represents another step towards sustainability and also puts the promotion of local agriculture and production in the spotlight. Uses: In the kitchen, this coriander harmonizes perfectly with fish, meat, and Christmas baked goods such as gingerbread and speculoos, as well as with homemade bread. It's also a must-have in soups, stews, and curries, lending them a fresh note. Taste: Our coriander has a pleasantly spicy flavor and a slightly nutty aroma reminiscent of oranges. Overall, it impresses with a sweet aroma that you can enhance with the right amount. The taste of ground coriander seeds is completely different from that of fresh leaves, which even convinces coriander skeptics. Production\/Sowing Phase: Coriander is grown from seeds. These are planted in well-draining, moist soil. After sowing, the soil should be kept moist until the seedlings emerge, which usually takes about 7-10 days. Therefore, cultivation is always dependent on the weather. After germination, the growth phase begins. In this phase, the plants develop strong, green shoots and leaves. Coriander plants prefer moderately moist, well-draining soil and a bright to partially shaded location. If the plants are too crowded, they should be thinned to allow room for growth. After about 4-6 weeks, the flowering phase begins. In this phase, flower stalks form at the tips of the plants. The flowers can be white or pink and often attract beneficial insects that help with pollination. Although the flowers are pretty to look at, they can also cause the plants to mature faster and produce fewer leaves. About 2-3 months after sowing, the ripening phase occurs. In this phase, the plants begin to produce their seeds. The leaves slowly turn brown and die, while the seeds ripen and turn brown. Once the seeds are ripe, they can be harvested.","brand":"STAY SPICED!","offers":[{"title":"xM","offer_id":45645250953465,"sku":"50310xM","price":6.81,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true},{"title":"XL","offer_id":45645251510521,"sku":"50310xL","price":11.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0723\/3178\/8537\/files\/583598-50310xM.png?v=1739761082","url":"https:\/\/gastro.stayspiced.com\/en\/products\/koriander-gemahlen-vom-maiergut","provider":"Stayspiced-Gastro","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
